First Place Winner in the Paderewski Competition in Los Angeles

South Korean pianist Seonghun Jeong is a prize-winning artist who began piano at age 14 and quickly rose to prominence, earning numerous first-place finishes in major competitions and winning the 2026 American International Paderewski Competition in Los Angeles. A summa cum laude graduate of Yonsei University, he is currently pursuing a Performer’s Diploma at Southern Methodist University on a highly selective full scholarship awarded to only one student annually. In addition to his performing career, Jeong is a dedicated educator known for his energetic, results-driven teaching style and currently serves on the piano faculty at Prime Music Institute.

Seating is general admission in the intimate, indoor and acoustically superb SECU Auditorium at the North Carolina Museum of Art.
