Winner in the Paderewski Competition in Bydgoszcz, Poland.

Italian pianist Elia Cecino, born in 2001, is one of the most exciting young artists on the international stage, distinguished as the first Italian to win First Prize at the Iturbi International Piano Competition in Valencia, along with special prizes for his Beethoven and Chopin interpretations.

He is also a multiple first-prize winner at major competitions in New Orleans, Manchester, and Lleida, and a laureate of the Arthur Rubinstein Piano Master Competition and the Vendome Prize in New York.

Cecino has performed at leading concert halls across Europe and the United States and appeared as a soloist with major orchestras including the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and the Israel Philharmonic, establishing a rapidly rising international career.

Seating is general admission in the intimate, indoor and acoustically superb SECU Auditorium at the North Carolina Museum of Art.
